My grandpa worked at McDonalds in the 90's and brought me toys from their Happy Meals all the time, and I distinctly remember that green HotWheels car. It was my favorite one. Seeing it again in that advertisement at 6:20 just nostalgia bombed me.

6:42 Ahhhh, the very beginning of Friends. I honestly thought it looked like a shitty show full of hack humor but fortunately my brother forced me to watch it since we only had one TV in the apartment at that time. I didn't care for much of the second half of its run as it seemed to get a bit cliched and romantic comedyish but those first 4 or 5 seasons were awesome.

I’m right back to being an elementary kid again, sitting on the living room floor in my parents’ apartment. Nothing really beats this nostalgic headrush. No stress. No worries. Just a kid chewing on my drinking straws and watching random television.

17:40 it's the Boatmen's guy!! Those who lived or grew up in St Louis in the 80's and 90's remember when he was the spokesman for Boatmen's Bank.

That Subway commercial brought back memories. I liked the way they used to cut their bread. And I miss the way that their bread used to taste and smell. They changed their bread at some point in the late 90s or early 00s, and it's just not as good anymore.

I typically only watch the 80s commercials but I am glad I watched these since I am from Philly and this is what I would have seen. Chances are however I was not watching Ernest this night, but more likely The Simpson’s and Married With Children and whatever else was on Fox Sunday nights in 94. I loved seeing the Phillies clips from Veterans Stadium!
