I read where Kevin Bacon was eaten. Not the Kevin Bacon, but the one who went on a Grindr connection, was consumed by his connector.

This movie is proof your theater experience can impact your thoughts on a film. I had someone in my theater crinkling a bag the whole time and had her phone out with flash ring so every time she got a text her camera would flash like wtf. So I gotta rewatch this one at home

Would suck if one of the main characters in the movie had some loud farts, that would ruin their day 🤣

Late to show but I really can’t understand how people that like the movie can suspend disbelief with a movie as inconsistent and contradictory as this one.

There are no rules, in horror movies there have to be some sort of rules in order to connect with the characters, this movie was so unfathomably contrived and idiotic I was just pissed of the whole time.

Finally watching this video, a quiet place was one of those amazing movies that just slipped by me for whatever reason, I saw the trailer when it came out thinking “ok this looks good” and finally watched it over a year later. Great movie

I thought it was stupid why bring the loudest creature outside a screaming goat into the world with man eating aliens based on sound

I could personally pull this film apart, but for me, we have to except that the world have been destroyed by these Aliens, but all you need to defeat them is a pump action shot gun…………OOOKay

They generate electricity using solar panels. The panels could be seen in one scene.

Actually, they do explain electricity in the film. In the scene where John's character, Lee, is laying sand down you can see giant solar panels on the roof. They explained a lot of stuff like this that didn't even need an explanation, but they still did because they knew people love nitpicking about this stuff.

In "Zombies ate my neighbors" I can get to level 60 I think (It was a level with the Spider Boss) and I would get Wiped out in a matter of seconds by that spider… Love the game though lol hard as hell

I actually enjoyed this movie as well… well, I was pretty tense and petrified for the most part after witnessing that scene where the youngest child got ripped apart 😨 So that was a very clever way of introducing us to the horror and suspense that they were able to maintain throughout the film. I also have to agree with the ending as well. I think it got too predictable the moment they knew what they could use to defeat the aliens.. it's like the mother turned all Sarah Connor (lol–just sayin') after her husband died. But I thought it was also a wise move to leave it up to the rest of the family to figure things out and the deaf daughter was able to do that. It's like she was the key or it's like she had the answer all along. Usually, it's the father or the male main character or something who saves the day, but for this film, it's the mother (I believe it's implied that having that shotgun, after successfully killing that first alien, she could even kill the other two with no problem.)

Oh and about this discussion, I really enjoyed it. ^_^ And this may sound totally vain of me, but can I just say *you are one gorgeous man*! 😍 (This is coming from someone who rarely compliments guys even online 😁but I just stumbled upon this video watching for reviews for this movie… which I saw a week ago)

I think the movie shows it's hard for them to travel hence why they set up shop at home you see that there are other people when they light the fires at night but it doesn't look like they even communicate with each other cause for a long distance journey they can't do it by foot and possibly the fear of trying and either making noise and not making it or not having enough supplies to make it

I kind of loved the movie for many reasons, but as a sound engineer there was a voice in my head screaming "THAT'S NOT HOW FUCKING AUDIO WORKS!" every 5 minutes or so. I suppose it's a credit to the directing and acting I could still enjoy a movie with so many plotholes in it's main mechanic.

Amazing movie, some glaring plot hold but the rest made up for it's.

Big negative was his death was pointless and entirely avoidable. He had enough time to sign "I love you" but not enough time to throw the axe elsewhere and make a sound distraction? Was pointless.

And no one else figured out to use different sound waves against super hearing aliens? Lol
