The scene where Lady Gaga had to act surprised by her own private plane, i was like that shit is soooo hilarious
Do you guys think if the manager hadn't said those words would he still had killed himself?????
Omg I bought this movie with the extra 7 minutes and I watch it everyday. These two Italian Americans (piasons) do a fabulous job portraying a true love story. I'm blown away BRAVO❤️❤️❤️
I just watched this movie and I went in skeptical because I've seen the Judy Garland version. If I ever run into Bradley Cooper I'm gonna give him my $10 and touch his nose! Hopefully he doesn't call security 😜This movie is amazing and I wish I would have seen it in the theaters!
Love your review of this movie!
I never usually cry but I cried so many times in this movie
There was very blatant foreshadowing toward the beginning of the film when Jackson is being driven to the bar that Ally is performing in. On one of the LED signs on the background, there are a bunch of nooses on it. I feel like the song that Jack wrote for Ally at the end of the film was basically his suicide note. I just want to say that regarding Rez, I haven't hated a character this much since Percy from The Green Mile.
You guys gay for that thumbnail😂😂
Well done!
I lost my shit during the scene that the guy embarrassed himself in front of his wife during the acceptance speech.
So, I just saw this movie and had to comment because I was agreeing with everything said. I was actually answering, "Yes! That's what I thought!" to you guys… yeah, I know how that sounds. No, but it was regarding the usual clichés in this type of movie. I thought he'd turn extremely jealous and also thought "oh, here's the evil British producer that's gonna take her and make her a bitch. He's gonna be a snake and constantly get in her ear and turn her against Jack." but nope! It actually didn't go down all the roads I thought it was going to. Great movie.
The part with the dog made my cry. Its interesting how they dont show lady gaga getting the news that he died. I did get the vibe of the movie ending of the movie "Glitter" with Mariah Carey.
The forshadow at the beginning of the movie when he's looking for a bar
When they stop there's a sighn with 3 ropes on it
If it doesn't win the Oscar for best film it will certainly win for best song.
Yeah in every version the husband kills himself, because the husbands blame themselves for the wives turning down their career to help the husbands (them). Due to their drug abuse, their own career is dying and the wife’s career is succeeding. When the husband kind of drags down the wife’s career, then they hear the damage to them and they decide to do something! In this version, Ally’s (GaGa’s) manager told him and Bradley cooper took it in. It’s really tragic. In the first one with Janet Gaynor and the second one with Judy Garland, the husband frowns themselves. In the third one with Barbara Streisand, the husband drives drunk and crashes into a pole on purpose. They do it as love for the wives, and they don’t want to be a burden to their wives and their career.
Man did i need your humor after watching this guys, that ending was intense.
For starters, I'm a huge Gaga fan. It all started when I viewed her live-acoustic-studio-version of Poker Face back in the day. Her talent was the reason I watched this film.
The movie had it's moments. The first half hour was awesome! It dragged a bit in the middle. The whole Dave Chappelle scene was a joke. I feel it was put in there to attract a particular audience and was unnecessary. The editing during the middle part of the film needed work. I felt the movie ran about 20 minutes too long,
The last half hour was great. Jack coming out of rehab and reconciling with his brother, his apology to his wife, and the incredibly sad relapse, were epic.
The suicide scene was heartfelt.
Lastly, the final song by Ms. Gaga was outstanding!
Great review!!
Great movie. I have seen 3/4 of the versions of this movie. The 50s version with Judy Garland is great. I saw the 70s version, that stars Barbara Streisand and Kris Kristofferson, on Netflix. It was great. Too bad it is not on Netflix anymore. This recent version is great too.
STILL the best review on youtube…
Rez killed Jackson!!!!!!!!!!!! Fuck y'all. I love this movie but I hate this movie because I cried. I don't know. Fuck Rez!
No one ever mentions the actor who played her best friend. He also did an awesome job with a small role. Their friendship felt genuine, and his character was so likeable. I loved every scene he was in.
You guys are better reviewer then Jaby for sure.
Thumbs up for teary eyes even in the intro…
