This demonstration/tutorial has been provided as a “starting point” with the hope that it will assist with your learning about educational uses of ABBYY’s FineReader 12 Professional Edition optical character recognition software application.
Although two examples of educational benefits using FineReader are shown please refer to other 3R’s Education videos that show additional uses.
Recognize that, like with any software application, there are many ways to achieve desired results using FineReader. Shown in the tutorial are “uncomplicated” ways to modify a specific organizer in addition to the processing of digital text in order for it to be used with text to speech applications (within the FineReader application itself).
Clarification:
I should have said, “PRE-process” and not just “process.”
To use the “drawing” tools, left click, HOLD and drag would have been clearer.
