After updating to version 9.5, I started experiencing this annoying glitching/lagging and have been trying to fix it for quite a while…
Following these 3 steps will definitely do the trick for you as it did for me!!!
#Ableton #Live

*sorry for the background audio not being heard when playing back in DAW

That is not AT ALL how these processors and their frequencies work. If your minimum power state is 5% that has very little directly to do with clock speed. Also 4 GIGAHERTZ is 4 BILLION Hertz. Not 4000. Your processor will NEVER run at 200 Hz. Your system would instantly crash. It's fine if you help people fix things like you did in this video. But PLEASE do not assert truth about something you very clearly know very little about

U forgot to say that u run ur CPU on all cores with 100% all the time and thus u waste a lot of electricty. What ist the use of powersaving features and automatic utilisation of the cpu depending of need. Ableton coded shit and can't manage to revert it back. all other software and DAWs are running as they used to be. Only AL works like shit. Go and use a monitoring software like e.g. AIDA and check ur electricity usage if u set ur CPU to 100% compared to 5, 10 or 20%. It's huge. Anyway thanks for the video. And u dont need to go to energy options to tweak the coreparking feature. There is a coreparking utility u can use. Use it. After ur work with ableton live revert back to 20% (as I do). Really helpful thanks. In my case (win10) I even had to unhide the minimum processor management via registry edit to be able to change it in the power settings..

I know this is an old video but it is relevant for not only ableton but also cubase; making the changes in the power setting removed all audio clipping !!! thanks for the video!
