Just to say you can fit two spare tubes in the other frame tube.
Put a bit of string through the tube to help getting them out. I have done so since I got my brompton.

I see £15 / £20 max worth of kit not £50 the cost in the UK. If the Brompton had quick release wheel clamps what most of us consider the industry standard, then no need of a wrench = a weight saving! Brompton just seem to meet customer needs rather than excelling; dare i mention disc brakes or even a decent saddle that seems to be the first of many costly upgrades. Wake up Brompton it's time to smell the coffee!!

anyone got any tips on how to remove the two rubber threaded plugs from the stem when they flatly refuse to come out and the screwdriver has meshed up the biting-point. You can't lose the thread inside the metal because the carrier block has to screw in there. I can't believe lots of people haven't had this problem, why don't brompton just use metal screws?

I have one of these toolkits. It's great. I haven't needed any other tools to do basic servicing on the Brommie. I carry a co2 inflator, patches and a spare tube in my man-bag (along with waterproofs). They cost about £45 quid.

This looks useful but it looks as if it will only fit inside the long wheel base frame?

You got it, we're certainly happy that Brompton sells their bikes internationally through retailers like us. – jack

It does cost a bit more than other kits, but it is extremely painstakingly designed. Plus, it's the only one that will fit in your Brompton's stem so gracefully!

Unsure, Brompton has been busy redesigning their tire levers and we're not sure when they'll be back in.

There are a lot of federal shipping regulations which we are subject to, and I imagine a lot of other shops are in the same boat. Believe me, we wish we could!

Funny haw manny US companies ive talked to – and they all say the same:"We don't ship internationally" – and for that i have a question.. Why the heck not?
when i think about how many great products we dont see in Europe it baffles me every time.. especially when it comes to the idea about "bad economy and not hireling US citizens in US" just wondering 🙂
