I tried this on a 5480 with Win-7/32 and it didn't work for me. However, I partitioned the hard and put the USB drivers on the second partition then followed the rest of your instructions. That worked perfectly, thanks.

Hey, sup? I'm having a little trouble with the step where I am supposed to paste the x64 driver files in the boot.wim1 and 2 folders. It won't allow me to paste anything there. Do you have any idea on how to solve it?

Brilliant stuff. I got the driver from your link, extracted it to an unused partition on the hard drive and simply pointed to it during the windows 7 installation. You saved me a lot of time searching and luckily I came across this as my first result! Brilliant stuff
