How to add bluetooth A2DP audio music streaming from your smartphone to your Fiat 500 stereo. Just use a small, USB bluetooth receiver available from many places including Amazon at:

Thank you!!!!!
Hi, the link to amazon does not work, is there a new link available?
If I connect it like in the video will my phone calls be handled like before by Blue&Me or the USB-BT receiver? Are phone calls handled separately by Blue&Me NOT the receiver in such configuration?
What if I don’t have an aux just a blue and me USB port?
Link doesn't work anymore; does anyone have a working link or know the name of this device?
Link doesnt work anymore.. Can Someone give me a link or name of that device?
I LOVE YOU THANK YOU
4 years later and you're still helping people! Thanks man! 🙂
bit late but how to i figure out the fiat 500 sport 2008 to work as i do not have this port as Italians are stupid and cant stick to plug in and play
Can I ask you if you know, my fiat 500 is from 2010 but I can not found the aux , I have only my USB , how I will connect ?
Hey there, great vid. What if you have the older model of 500 pop that only has the usb port and no aux. Is there an alternative solution for this?
Where is the fucking aux input ?
Thank you so much for posting this video! For some unknown reason my spouse's iPhone will not connect to the FIAT's audio input (it seems to be a problem with the the phone; I have the same model iPhone and it connects without a glitch). This was an easy, inexpensive solution and the sound is great. This is the second of your videos where are you helped me with the FIAT. I will be sad when you switch cars.
Can I control music from steering wheel? Will phone calls be handled by Blue&Me and the car mic? And does it pair automatically when starting car? Thx
This item is no longer available – if you have a suitable alternative option I'd love it. I'm looking for this exact fix!
wouldn't it work just from the USB? I mean switching to "media:USB".
I just saw this video and read some of the comments and I think some people are misunderstanding the USB usage. The USB port is only used to power the bluetooth not send it to the stereo that is what the aux port is used for. Some people say their Fiat doesn't have the usb port but they should at least have a AUX port on their car so they can still use a cigarette lighter bluetooth device and still use the Aux port. It is a good idea though to keep it hidden and out of the way. I am sure that was why they put it in the glove box on some models instead of next to the shifting stick like they do on other models. It a simple way of getting around the bluetooth issue. I think fiat probably didn't want to pay for the licensing for it to be installed in the stock system. It's much cheaper for them and the consumer to buy a $10 bluetooth stick than pay a extra $50 dollars to have it as part of the stock system. The Fiat 500 is after all a budget conscience vehicle even on the more expensive models.
It does work, but I can't use it in real life. My girl can't stand the interference noise. Basically there is a usually quiet high-pitched whine being picked up by the unshielded cables (possibly including the actual car cabling behind the glove box). Also this kind of solution doesn't pass through the track name etc, which every other car on the market gets with their built in solutions.
Don't get me wrong – I think this is the best we can do without ripping out and trashing that garbage head unit. So thanks for the suggestion!
FIAT why do you make us go through this headache just to play BT audio in 2015? (Yes, I have a '14 and same feature set).
Hi does the fiat 500 Pop standard come with a usb port/ aux?
Hi I have both the same but I cannot find the port where I can put it in my 500c Abarth, there is the same into another place that you know please?
What about the sound quality? Is it similar to another car with embedded BT streamming? Or is it rubbish? Is it ad2p in stereo or mono? If it all goes as you presented on the video then its really a great solution!
Where can i buy it
What kind of Fiat 500 is it ?
you are a Rock Star!!!
Do you know if this will work with streaming Spotify premium playlists? If so you're a lifesaver! And this is a brilliantly imformative video 🙂
Thank you, thank you! Just ordered on Amazon. Glad you included the link.
This unit doesnt need a cigarette lighter for power, which is great. Can't wait to try it out (2013 FIat 500 Pop).
My only concern with this setup is the audio quality?
How does it sound, if it sounds like crap there's no point
just got my 2014 modell guilietta, and i must why Alfa Romeo why? cant a 2014model car have bluetooth streaming. a usb stick with mp3s are so 90"s. and wiring my phone each time is not an option, but this solution is a backup plan..
Doesnt work with 2009 abarth 500 :'(
Thank you
This is a good workaround. But why doesn't blue and me just enable streaming bluetooth? I've noticed that skype now works (thanks MS), but not media. Skype is presumably media, not phone, so there seems to be no technical (hardware) obstacle. It is just MS being difficult. My (Australian) fiat doesn't have an aux in so the solution here isn't feasible. Fiat/Alfa will/is losing sales if it doesn't sort this.
