Learn pivot tables in 6 minutes… Pivot tables allow you to automatically summarizes your data… so you can “slice-and-dice” in a million ways. This means you can replace lots of hand-typed summary calculations with more automated reporting. To create a pivot table, select a cell in your table and click “PivotTable” on the “Insert” tab. This works in Microsoft Excel 2010, 2013, and 2016.

This video explains a lot, but I find the zooming very frustrating. I don't like that I can't see the immediate change to the sheet on the left when you select options on the right. Other than that very informative.

Cody, I was watching this video with some soothing spa music on. Your voice and the music was very relaxing together. Perhaps you could record some guided meditations?

Rule #1 with software instruction videos: NEVER EVER zoom in, unless it's absolutely necessary for legibility. Zoom makes the audience lose oversight.

This is awesome, thank you. I once had a colleague who kept sorting out the pivot tables I needed for my job for me, and when I asked him how I could do it myself, he smiled at me and said, "If I told you I would be out a job." Since then, Pivot Tables have felt like a distant secret to my mind. Thank you for beginning to break down that barrier. 🙂

This video is GREAT b/c it is straight and to the point. It is lacking however b/c the sample file that you play with in the video is NOT provided.
