Rea drove me crazy talking about the Mud Baths in Nha Trang Vietnam until I finally agreed to a holiday. Luckily I found a few things that interested me … a few bikinis on the beach and a brew pub …

Thinking of Heading to SE Asia?

I’m an expat living in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand, and Indonesia. I’d like to share my experiences with you. My videos might help you have a better experience, anticipate what to expect or encourage you to get out of that Lazyboy and head this way.

My videos are snippets of life, but I also am happy to discuss SE Asia with you by email.

Email is welcomed at [email protected]

A lot of my video is shot within 5km of my house in the Tân Phú district of Ho Ci Minh City (Saigon). There is a lot of activity here.

The videos are representative of everyday life and challenges in the city for retired expats. My goal is to help those looking for another life to see what it’s like in this wonderful SE Asian country. My hope is that you will visit Vietnam and just maybe you will enjoy it as much as I do. Some of the videos are just for fun, some are about the differences in the cultures.

I will also be adding some videos about my time in other SE Asian countries.

I hope you SUBSCRIBE to my channel and enjoy the videos on my channel.

JR, you're having a crazy good time! When I pulled up this page, the associated YT Videos included (besides watches) "Female Mud Wrestlers in Bikinis" … I thank you… Bill😉

OK finally got time to watch. First of all EXCELLENT and PROFESSIONAL video work! How much equipment did you bring to do that? I agree that the city looked fun but I would pass on it too because I'm not a "Jelly" beer drinker anymore and the mud baths I like are a lot thicker than what Rea had. Shopping looked boring and while the dragons looked fun I would have had my fill after about 5 min. I'm also not a temple guy. We even passed on Ankor Wat because Edlyn isn't either. Got to admit that this would be the time now to go to avoid the Chinese tourists. Overall, GREAT JOB and can't wait until the next vid. 👍

Good video. You need to go back for one of the day boat trips.

Hey JR – that was a good video of Nha Trang and of you guys having a relaxing time. Cool to learn about Jelly Brew Pub – I did not know that one – looks like you had a stout or porter (those are my favorite). My most recent visit to Viet Nam and Nha Trang was in 2016 and I did get to try the stout beer at Louisiane Brewhouse – pretty good. As you mentioned there are many Chinese visitors in Nha Trang (and Russians). Sometimes the Vietnamese will go up to Americans and say basically – please save us from China. Apparently many Chinese were giving tours in Viet Nam and claiming to the Chinese that it all belongs to China. Heard about the mud baths which is quite popular with many. I prefer the beer. The streets behind the main thoroughfare are also fun to walk around during the day. A friendly city/town. Glad you two had a nice time.

Super excellent video. You did an extremely wonderful job with your editing. The video and audio quality was superb. I want to see those places you guys went to. You took some really excellent videos, I mean really quality shots. I don’t know how you personally feel about it but I think you did an outstanding job all the way around.

It’s actually one of your nicest one of late. I must admit I find myself becoming intrigued with some of the sites that you visited. I saw a ton of lovely scenery. The video is definitely a hit.
