February 16, 2020The A9 2018 is still going strong. Its Display is more vibrant and colorfull compared to the A70. The A70 has the bigger Display but not the better one. The A70 has the bigger battery being a 4500 mah batter. But the 3800 mah of the A9 2018 is still extremly durable as I use this phone for one year now and its battery is still insanely good! Considering the screen size of A70, the 4500 does not last longer then the A9 2018.
The processor of the A70 is a 7 series SD wich is stronger than the A9 2018's SD 660. Still the SD660 packed with either 6 or 8 GB of RAM is nearly as good. The difference isnt noticeable in day to day usage.
Speed test such as this do not proof anything as speed tests and benchmarks are irrelevant to real world performance.
The camera system of the A9 2018 is superior to the one in the A70. A9 2018 lacks night mode, but any mode, especially the ultra wide and Telephoto and Live-Focus are better and you can see it in the example pictures. The scene optimizer is better on A9 2018 to. With the expected Android 10 update the A9 2018 will get a Night Mode wich will also do better shots at nights. It also has a better premium build. Its slimer, and feels more Premium in your hand. The A70, like the other A00 phones of 2019 all feel a bit more bulky. The A9 2018 is even slimer then the S and Note Seried giving it an amazing feeling in your hand.
Its the overall better phone.
