Recently I tried to install Windows 7 onto a newer laptop with a bootable thumb drive. I kept getting the error code “A Required CD/DVD Drive Device Driver is Missing. If you have a driver floppy disk, CD, DVD, or flash drive, please insert it now.” This is an extremely simple fix for most systems. I hope this helps!
