Doing the shrines as a one-hit kill was extremely BS, too- completely in opposition with the whole rest of the game, where you can use several ways to progress, use ressources at hand to facilitate the tasks required, and so on, you get a DO IT THIS WAY ONLY gut gudd series of dungeons that are the least fun I had with any nintendo product in 10 years.
In retrospect, the biggest isssue with playing as the Champions is figuring out how their abilities would play into the fight.
Daruk is big and bulky, he definitely wouldn't be able to use the paraglider, maybe roll around? Mipha could probably swim around the arena when it floods, but you wouldn't be able to use Shock Arrows. Urbosa is probably the best match for this, she's the most humanoid and would work with a few animation swaps. Revali can literally fly, breaking the balance of the entire boss fight.
Especially because you'd be forcing these new restrictions on the player so suddenly, would it be more disappointing to fight with a gimmick for a single optional boss battle? It was likely considered during development, without a doubt.
The only thing that would make me consider getting DLC for BOTW is the Trial of the Sword stuff. Champions's Ballad? Pft, I'm content with my horses. Idk why people hate them so much xD
I just have a tip for molduking: he’s weak to electric attacks and takes as much damage normal weapons do on normal moldugas (you get a hint of its weakness when you take a picture of it and read its description about it)
It's 5am where I'm at and let me just say, the first time I saw it I honestly thought it said "warning, spoilers and onions ahead" and sleep deprived me accepted it for about 5 seconds because I was just getting teary-eyed over some the other day. Wild
It doesn't make any sense for there to be a playable character other than Link in this game. Everything, and I mean everything is based around his moveset. Let's just say the game let you play as Daruk. Where would Link's inventory go? Would Daruk have all the same movement options as link? Would he have stamina? How much? Is Daruk able to climb stuff like Link? Probably not. Would Daruk be stuck with an unbreakable Boulder Breaker? Would he swing it the same way as Link? Probably not! It's just way, way too much stuff to do and plan, and I'm honestly baffled that people would go into this DLC with that expectation. It was always going to be new stuff that made use of the assets they already had. This has to exist in Breath of the Wild, after all. I just don't get it.
0:05 "the f***able fish"
Me: (thinks about Sidon)
How did he dye his tunic?

"The Fuckable Fish"
I'd say something about that but its actually spot on.
Baby yoda, baby sonic, or baby sidon
I wonder what Scott will think the next zelda will be like.
I'm excited since they're using the same engine that took them so long to do and it'll give them more time to work on flushing out a well done story.
3:30 but kass is hot thooo
Tbh for the final boss in dlc pack 2, I just spammed guardian arrows and stasis+. Super easy

I mean the dlc is worth it just for that cute Sidon face ●°●
Wait..what about the Master Sword Trials?? Wasn't that part of the DLC?
Maz Koshia was one of the most fanservicy, narratively satisfying bosses in Nintendo history. That is all.

What was that song when he went to that place
"kass feels shoehorned in probably because nintendo got the memo that everyone wants to fuck him"
>>
Jimmy neutron with a side of sodium chloride
me in 2019 DID someone heard the samurai jack theme song?!
I don't like the motorcycle. it's immersion braking for me. I'll stick to the horses.
thank GOD he mentioned sidon. that was the best part of both the dlc combined.
Maybe the DLC doesn't have you go back to 100 years previously because you get to in BotW 2?
…please Nintendo?
But sidons smile ;-;

But… shrines are fun
