I got one for my Volvo V70 GLT n/a -98 and it works flawless with mic and remote button for answering calls etc. The only thing is that I cant change track via the buttons on the headunit. I want to keep the original unit because the car is equipped with the big speaker option. Sounds very good for only being 4x20w rms output on 8 speakers 😊😊
This is made for a Volvo car. If it doesn't work you just bought the wrong gadget.

How abaout sound quality?
Just buy a double din stereo for the same price. It will have touch screen and storage. Problem solved.

If you get a FM modulator it also works good. without any modification to your factory unit… for half that price…

Yellow is usually power when car is off to maintain memory of radio stations. Red is usually switched power, ie when key is on. Black ground.
